Some information literacy (IL) educators are calling for teaching expansive views of IL, including the history of the field and the theories and methods we apply in our teaching and research. Competing with other curricular priorities, it’s difficult to spend significant time engaging undergraduates in broader ideas surrounding IL. In this Huddle, we will strategize how we can teach broader ideas surrounding IL within the various institutional contexts in which we work.
